Production Blog: Shopping for equipment

Hey bloggers as you know I've been getting started on working on my Music Video. I watched a few YouTube videos and continued studying terminology used in the film world. Iwas doing this as I wanted to look into purchasing a few items and equipment to make sure I wouldn't something that didn't apply to what I needed. I was looking for highly rated but budget lighting equipment under the $100 price tag. One of the best items I found was a set of a tripod, and a ring light going for 29.99 and 4.5 stars with 60,000 reviews. The only problem in my mind was whether or not the filming we were doing would require a tripod or a stand or if it was better to use a camera man. I was also looking for lenses that would fit onto either of our cameras in the group. I was in between 4 lenses of below $40 and did extensive google searching and meticulous analyzation of reviews to eliminate 2 more lenses. It was now down to a Xenvo Lens with 4 stars and 50 thousand reviews with a macro lens type and a zoom lens design. My other option was a VASDEV lens rated at 5 stars with 2 thousand reviews with a fisheye, telephoto, and macro lens type with a Telephoto Lens 28X + Wide Angle Lens 0.6X + Macro Lens 20X + Fisheye Lens 198°lens design. The VASDEV lens also had information about focal length with its maximum being 198 mm and its minimum being 1 mm. I felt it was a relatively easy decision to make in between the 2 lenses as they were the same price and compatible for my phone and the VASDEV provided more detailed information about the product and offered a variety of different lenses in one and came with a travel bag, so I ordered it online. After this I continued looking at costumes and trying to determine what outfits everyone in the group should have on or if it was irrelevant in terms of the video, we were planning on making. As a backup plan I looked into a Jesus costume as it had a very high-quality beard. I also looked into a dog toy to keep the dog focused on the camera when we needed him too. I found a set of 12 tennis balls and I also found a few tug of war toys to make the scenes more impactful when the dog was involved. Well alright bloggers that's all thanks for reading and hope you have an amazing day!!
